Clarinetist Marianne Breneman, a native of the Detroit area, holds degrees from Michigan State University, Wayne State University, and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM).  Ms. Breneman is the second clarinetist with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra and is on faculty at The College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, OH. Marianne is also Clarinetist and Managing Director of Conundrum, a unique chamber ensemble of Soprano, Flute, Clarinet, and Piano.

She has participated in many summer festivals including the Aspen Music Festival and School, The Banff Centre for the Arts, The Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music, Le Domaine Forget, the Scotia Festival of Music, and the Grandin Chamber Music Festival at CCM.

In addition to her performing, Ms. Breneman maintains an active teaching studio in the Cincinnati area. Students are accepted by audition only.

She lives in Cincinnati with her husband Brian and two exuberant golden retrievers.  In her spare time, Marianne is a triathlete and runner; she also volunteers for various ovarian cancer research fundraisers and is part owner of Koka Coffeehouse.
